Churches, denominations and Christian charities need to communicate with clarity, strategy and thoughtful precision of language. Effective communication executed prayerfully can be a powerful testimony of God's church at work in today's world.
Scripture says, "be ready always to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have." (1 Peter 3:15)
This verse doesn't just apply to our personal testimonies or Christian apologetics, but also our readiness to communicate corporately as churches or leaders in the faith on behalf of the body of Christ. We must "be ready" to not only anticipate and respond to questions or perceptions about the church and our beliefs, but to also encourage and equip believers to do the same.
